I understand that this is a limited access intranet Web site made available only to SCORE volunteers, employees and others as properly authorized by SCORE headquarters. I understand that I should protect the information that I receive. I also understand that the information I receive is sensitive in that it involves business information, which may be proprietary to the provider and financial information, some of which may involve information about individuals’ developing businesses. I agree not to use or distribute the information located on this site in any way that would be contrary to the guidelines set forth in the SCORE Operating Manual (SOM). I further agree to treat the information on this site in a manner consistent with the mission and goals of the SCORE Association. I understand that my failure to adhere to these terms and conditions could result in termination of my relationship with SCORE.

SCORE Electronic Counseling
When I participate in SCORE email counseling, I agree to abide by the SCORE email counseling guidelines.

I understand that SCORE services, including but not limited to email counseling and workshops, are provided as services only to citizens of the United States and its territories.

I understand that when a customer submits a request to participate in email counseling, and when I participate in email counseling, I am signifying that I agree to the terms and conditions of SCORE counseling outlined as follows. I agree to hold customer information in strictest confidence. I further agree not to (1) recommend goods or services from sources in which I have an interest or (2) accept fees or commissions developing from a counseling relationship.

I understand that as a SCORE counselor, I am not providing advice pursuant to the authority of professional certifications or licenses that I may hold and I further agree not make representations to SCORE customers that would lead SCORE customers to believe that they are receiving advice pursuant to the authority of professional certifications or licenses that I or other SCORE counselors may hold.

SCORE Listservs
I understand that SCORE Web-hosting of the SCORE listservs does not constitute an express or implied endorsement by SCORE of any of the opinions expressed or products or services recommended by participants in the SCORE listservs.

When I participate in the SCORE listservs, I agree to hold customer information in strictest confidence. I agree not to recommend to other participants in the SCORE listservs goods or services from sources in which I have an interest and I further agree not to accept fees or commissions developing from participation in the SCORE Listservs.

I understand that emails submitted as part of the SCORE listservs cannot be erased by those who submit them, are property of SCORE and should not be used for personal reasons inconsistent with SCORE’s mission and goals. Examples of inappropriate use might include, but are not limited to, use of SCORE listservs for personal financial gain or to intentionally disparage or harm another person or business.

The Service Corps of Retired Executives (SCORE) Association is funded by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) (Cooperative Agreement No. SBAHQ-03-S-0001).
